A SAILING club is pushing the boat out with an invitation to Halesowen and Sandwell wannabe Ben Ainslie’s to take to the water.
People of all ages can make a splash at Bartley Sailing Club which is hosting free taster sessions on Saturday May 16.
They are been offered to attract novices and people looking to get back into the sport as part of the Royal Yachting Association’s Push the Boat Out recruitment campaign.
There will be a host of activities taking place from 10.30am, including dinghy sailing with various displays and information available.
Commodore Mike Gibson said: “We are delighted to be taking part in the RYA Push the Boat Out and are inviting the local community to come down to the club, have a go at sailing, see what the club has to offer and get involved, who knows if you visit you might just get hooked .”
