THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between May 18 and 22:

Rebecca Jones, aged 34, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for eight weeks for stealing alcohol, worth £36, from Tesco, Dudley, on May 17. She must pay £230 court costs.

Leiam William Lenton, aged 23, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, was fined £350 for drink driving in Brierley Hill on January 3, without a licence or insurance. When tested, he had 42mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £300 court costs.

Russell Phillip Smith, aged 34, of High Park Avenue, Wollaston, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing sweets from Poundland, Brierley Hill, on March 30. He must pay compensation of £2.

Ashley Luke Stretton, aged 20, of Wallows Road, Brockmoor, was fined £225 for driving without due care or attention in Brierley Hill on May 7. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence, insurance or MOT. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £235 court costs.

Daniel Paul Tallett, aged 21, of Maybank Road, Netherton, was fined £150 for damaging a car in Kingswinford on February 23. He must pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Stuart Alan Round, aged 26, of Wavell Road, Quarry Bank, was sent to prison for 20 weeks, suspended for 12 months for stealing items, worth £892.50, from shops across the Black Country between April 14 and 30 and obstructing a police officer in the execution of duty on May 1. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £180 court costs.

Hannah Nicole Davis, aged 24, of Dellaway Court, Wollaston, was sent to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for committing fraud by making a false representation that she was entitled to make use of a bank account belonging to another. She must pay compensation of £7,700, a victim surcharge of £60 and £100 court costs.

Stephen Albert Finch, aged 48, of Tennyson Street, Pensnett, was sent to prison for 20 weeks, suspended for two years for harassing others by making phone calls and sending text messages of a sexual nature between October 5 and December 5, 2014. He must pay compensation of £600, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Delia Hampton, aged 45, of Witton Street, Norton, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months for failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis during the course of an investigation into whether she had committed an offence in Stourbridge on August 25, 2014. She was disqualified from driving for 42 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £350 court costs.

David Matthew Thomas Mills, aged 33, of Northview, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 24 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for driving without a licence and failing to stop after an accident in Stourbridge on December 28, 2014. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must carry out 200 hours unpaid work. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

David Evans, aged 33, of Swan Street, Netherton, as given a 12 month community order for drink driving in Brierley Hill on May 12. When tested he had 98mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for two years and must carry out 50 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £235 court costs.

John Charles Philpott, aged 56, of Alwen Street, Wordsley, was given a nine month community order for drink driving in Stourbridge on April 21. When tested he had 119mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for two years and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £235 court costs. He was given a four week curfew and for the duration, he must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am.

Paul Michael Morrill, aged 32, of Selcroft Avenue, Quinton, was sent to prison for six weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing fuel from Shell in Stourbridge and Halesowen on October 23 and 30, 2014. He must pay compensation of £29.08, a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.
