POLICE have appealed for help to trace a dementia sufferer from Bewdley who has gone missing today (July 28) in Kidderminster.

Frank Lancaster, who is also known as Basil, was last seen at around 11.30am this morning on George Street in Kidderminster.

The 83-year-old suffers from dementia, so police and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and wish to confirm that he is safe and well.

He is described as white, around six foot tall, of a medium build, with grey hair and was last seen wearing brown or beige trousers, a jumper with a chequered shirt underneath and dark brown shoes.

Frank is fit and mobile so is able to walk long distances. He also has links to St Albans in Hertfordshire.

Anyone who sees Frank is asked to call police immediately on 101 quoting incident 312S of Tuesday 28 July.
