A PARALYPMIC skier visited a Halesowen school this week to inspire pupils not to give up if their best laid plans go wrong.
Anna Turney broke her back in 2006 snowboarding which led to her being a medal winning skier competing in the Sochi and Vancouver Paralympics.
The Paralympian spoke at length with pupils at Olive Hill Primary School on Monday as part of the Olympic legacy initiative Be The Best You Can Be.
Jo Jenkins, from Olive Hill Primary School, said: "Anna taught the children that it is ok to have a plan B when something doesn't go as planned.
"And she taught the children understand how to overcome barriers and how hard you have to work to get where you want to be."
