A TEACHING centre, based at a Halesowen primary school is launching a new course for early years’ practitioners.
The Hales Valley Teaching School already runs a direct course post graduate certificate in education at Lutley Primary School.
Starting next September, it will also run an early years version aimed at people such as classroom assistants, nursery workers and childminders who would like to become teachers but work with children aged three to eight.
Applications for both courses will be accepted through UCAS from Sunday, October 25 this year.
Hales Valley, which is affiliated with the University of Birmingham, is also having an open evening on Tuesday, September 29 from 5.30pm until 7.30pm at the school in Brookwillow Road for people to find out more about the courses and meet the team.
