Charity table top sale hoping to raise a packet in Blackheath
NATIONAL Arthritis Week is being marked in Blackheath with a fundraising table top sale.
The sale at the Church Hall, Vicarage Road, on Saturday October 17, at 10am will raise funds for Arthritis Research UK.
Local branch spokeswoman Pat Taylor said: “We are keen to raise as much as possible so that vital research can continue.
“One of the latest research programmes at King's College, London, could lead to a blood test to diagnose fibromyalgia and help doctors to predict how badly patients will be affected by this painful, poorly understood condition.”
Admission is 20p and refreshments will be available.
