SHABBY chic furniture and antique jewellery will be among the treasures at vintage fair being held in Halesowen to raise money for people in need.

Blackheath-based Loaves ‘n’ Fishes, which supplies furniture, clothing and household items to people in dire straits, is organising the fair at Benjamins Banqueting Suite, on Wednesday October 28.

Marketing volunteer Tyla Allen said Out of the Dust was inspired by the charity’s 12 Baskets Store, Blackheath, which sells vintage stock donated by members of the public.

The fair, which will run from 1pm until 8pm, will also feature stalls selling old records, vintage clothing and craft displays.

Visitors will have the chance to have a vintage hair do and make-up and a photographer will be on hand to capture the effect or take portrait and family pictures.

Pamper treatments will also be available along with food, sweets and refreshments and a raffle and auction will boost the fundraising.

Miss Allen said: “There will be lots going on and we hope it will raise the profile of Loaves ‘n’ Fishes and generate funds so that we can continue the work we do in our communities.”
