KIND-hearted youngsters from Halesowen football side Halas Hawks North under 10s put in some extra training to raise funds for terminally ill children.
They took part in the Black Country 5k fun run and raised £531 for Acorns Children's Hospice.
The event was a personal success for player Dan Jones, who beat manager Daniel Marshall and his assistants Rob Maclaren and Mick Halpin back home.
The boys are pictured outside the Acorns Hospice shop in Halesowen High Street.
