THE following appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court between October 19 and 23:

Luke Hughes-Roberts, aged 24, of Islington, Halesowen, was sent to prison for four weeks, suspended for six months, for stealing items, worth £168.99, from stores in Kingswinford and Halesowen, on October 9 and 17. He was also sentenced for possessing cocaine in Wolverhampton on October 17. He must pay compensation of £93.99, a victim surcharge of £80 and £365.

Raja Naveed Hussain, aged 32, of Hilderic Crescent, Holly Hall, was given a 12 month community order for four charges of causing people harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, in Dudley on March 2. One of the offences was racially aggravated. He must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £60 and £500 court costs.

David Jon Hunt, aged 45, of Lindsey Place, Brierley Hill, was given a six month community order for possessing diamorphine in Brierley Hill on October 3. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £365 court costs.

Faith Kamau, aged 34, of Hillside Road, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for six months for spitting at a police officer in Brierley Hill and causing £100 worth of damage to a police vehicle in Wrens Nest on September 22. She must pay compensation of £95, a victim surcharge of £15 and £225 court costs.

Martin Stephen Madelin, aged 38, of Langstone Road, Russells Hall, was discharged conditionally for six months for causing £100 damage to two doors in Dudley on October 4. He must pay compensation of £40, a victim surcharge of £15 and £235 court costs.

James Michael Wallace, aged 31, of Tiled House Lane, Pensnett, was given a nine month community order for stealing items, worth £121.42, from shops in Brierley Hill between August 8 and 23, while subject to a conditional discharge. He was fined £140 and must pay compensation of £17.45, a victim surcharge of £60 and £235 court costs.

Ryan Mark Emery, aged 23, of Wassell Road, Wollescote, was sent to prison for 13 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for assaulting a woman in Quarry Bank on March 18. He must pay compensation of £120, a victim surcharge of £80 and £350 court costs.

Lee Jones, aged 36, of Addison Road, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for stealing a credit card in Brierley Hill on June 25 and stealing tools in Brierley Hill on September 18. He was also sentenced for entering a building in Brierley Hill as a trespasser on October 19 and attempting to enter a garage in Stourbridge as a trespasser on October 12 with intent to steal. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £180 court costs.

Dwayne Issachiar Laird, aged 28, of Foxdale Drive, Brierley Hill, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for being drunk and disorderly and resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty, in Brierley Hill on September 12. He must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £235 court costs.

Thomas Geoffrey Martin Winkett, aged 27, of Fenton Street, Brockmoor, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for wilfully obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty in Brockmoor on September 13. He must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £235 court costs.

Christopher Paul Williams, aged 31, of Collis Street, Stourbridge, was discharged conditionally for three months for assaulting a woman in Stourbridge on September 20. He must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £235 court costs.

Monika Wojtczak, aged 29, of Beresford Road, Oldbury, was given a two month community order for stealing a coat, worth £89.99, from TK Maxx, Walsall, on September 23. She was given a two month curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 6pm and 6am. She must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £235 court costs.

Wayne Colin Bird, aged 41, of Wood Road, Lower Gornal, was sent to prison for 10 weeks for causing £200 worth of damage to a window at The Woodman, Dudley, on September 20, while subject to a community order. He must pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £80 and £150 court costs.

Karl Christopher Flynn, aged 37, of Sudeley Gardens, Lower Gornal, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing a vehicle immobiliser key in Brierley Hill on April 23. He must carry out 120 hour unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £780 court costs.

Sinead Keeli Greaves, aged 26, of Halesowen Road, Netherton, was given a 12 month community order for stealing chocolate, worth £25, from B&M, Dudley, on October 6. She must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £285 court costs.

Michael John Idoine, aged 46, of High Street, Lye, was given a 12 month community order for stealing a sat nav and aftershave, worth £80, in Stourbridge on September 28 and entering a hair salon in Stourbridge on October 2 as a trespasser with intent to steal. He was given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 8pm and 7am. He must pay compensation of £630, a victim surcharge of £60 and £180 court costs.

Justin Batley, aged 37, of Albrighton Road, Halesowen, was given a 12 month community order for damaging a car window in Lye on September 10. He must pay compensation of £250, a victim surcharge of £60 and £285 court costs.

Sonia Braham, aged 53, of Laurel Road, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing items, worth £28.74, from Bodycare, Brierley Hill, on October 8. She must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £285 court costs.

Simon Peter Ian Foxall, aged 41, of Upton Street, Netherton, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing items, worth £25.98, from 99p Plus, Dudley, on October 7. He must pay compensation of £25.98, a victim surcharge of £15 and £285 court costs.

Wayne Ferguson, aged 35, of Haig Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months for driving while disqualified and without insurance, in Dudley on September 17. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £235 court costs.

Lee Parsons, aged 43, of High Street, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 18 weeks for stealing items worth £283, in Kingswinford and Stourbridge on September 8 and October 1, while subject to a community order. He was also sentenced for possessing cannabis in Brierley Hill on October 22 and failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on October 19, having been released on bail. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £180 court costs.
