DUDLEY South MP Mike Wood is hosting a jobs fair at The Waterfront in Brierley Hill on Thursday November 12.
The Conservative MP, who was elected to represent the Wordsley, Kingswinford and Brierley Hill areas at the General Election in May, has organised the event having helped to run similar successful jobs fairs for other Black Country MPs.
He said: “One of my priorities was to organise one once becoming an MP myself. This will be an opportunity for local employers to advertise themselves to the jobs market throughout Dudley South and beyond.”
The event, sponsored by Mercury Training, Eon, and NatWest, is being held at the offices of Dudley Disabled Learning Activities & Advice Centre at Cable Plaza, Waterfront West, from 2pm to 6pm.
Mr Wood added: “We hope to have over 40 companies and organisations represented – many of whom will be recruiting or offering training opportunities.”
Members of the public interested in potential job vacancies or training opportunities can turn up on the day from 2pm.
