TODAY may see the first freezing temperatures and glimpses of snow in a long time across most parts of the Black Country and North Worcestershire.
The day will start off largely dry at first with some sunshine, but through the day showers will come in and we will see wintry weather over higher ground, leaving temperatures this morning around the 8°C mark.
With strengthening westerly winds of around 13.5mph, it will feel colder as the afternoon progresses, with temperatures in the region of 8°C.
Tonight will see clear spells and showers, with the showers falling as rain, sleet and snow. It will be a cold and windy night with frost and ice appearing in places and minimum temperatures of around -1°C.
