GOOD morning. We are here with the latest traffic and travel news to help you avoid the queues and reach your destination on time.

Traffic is already building up in Hopwood as roadworks on Birmingham Road are causing delays at the Lea End Lane junction.

There is also queueing traffic on the M6 southbound because of an earlier broken down vehicle. All lanes have now reopened but there is congestion to J10a M54.

Overall, the roads are looking pretty clear so far, but there are some ongoing roadworks that you might want to try and avoid.

They include:

Dudley: One lane of Tipton Road is closed between Castle Gate island and the Birmingham New Road junction because of roadworks during off-peak periods and water main work.

One lane of Birmingham New Road is also closed at the Sedgley Road junction due to gas main work.

Resurfacing work has closed Lake Street in Lower Gornal in both directions between the junctions with Deepdale Lane and Robert Street. A diversion is in operation.

Redditch: Delays expected on Birmingham Road between the Dagnell End Road junction and Redditch Road because of temporary traffic lights.

Rowley Regis: Temporary traffic lights are causing delays on Dudley Road at the Doulton Road junction.

Oldbury: Gas main work and temporary traffic lights spell delays for those using Bodenham Road.

Bromsgrove: The Strand is closed between the junctions with Stourbridge Road and Windsor Street because of resurfacing work during the night. A diversion is in operation.

Temporary traffic lights on Kidderminster Road are also causing delays at the Willow Road junction.

Kidderminster: Temporary traffic lights look set to cause delays on Mason Road between the junctions with Crane Street and Habberley Road.
