TICKETS are going fast for a charity ball in Old Hill for the Sandwell mayor’s appeal.
The event at the Regis Hall and Restaurant on Saturday April 2 will include a four-course dinner and dancing to Tasha Boom Boom and the Swing Band.
Borough community ambassador Kelvin James urged people to buy their tickets before they run out.
It is hoped the ball, which will also feature a raffle and auction, will raise about £2,000 for mayor Councillor Barbara Price’s chosen charity – Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Tickets, priced £40 or a table of 10 for £350, are available from Mr James on 07980 588756 or Dave Saunders on 07885 481687.
