BILLED as “the feel good show of the year”, a new smash-hit stateside spectacular ‘Soul Legends’ is coming to the Black Country.

The show, which features more soul classics than any other production, is heading to the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre stage on Friday night (June 3).

Among the 32-song score are hits from Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, Barry White, Lionel Richie, Chaka Khan, Earth Wind and Fire, Kool & the Gang and many more.

Show producer Michael Taylor said: “It’s all aboard the sensational soul train show of the year.

“We embark from soul’s heady sixties origins, steaming non-stop through to the present day; via everyone’s favourite seventies and eighties dance classics.”

Starring George “Rock Your Baby” McCrae, the production features an all-star cast, gifted musicians, and elaborately authentic costumes in a bid to do justice to the passion and fervour of everyone’s favourite soul classics.

Tickets to the show, which starts at 7.30pm, cost £25 or £23.50 for concessions and are available by calling the box office on 01902 429212, or online at www.grandtheatre.co.uk
