SHOCKED pupils returned to their Halesowen school after the holidays to find the playground turned into crash investigation scene.
Staff at Our Lady and St Kenelm Primary School spent Sunday creating a mock alien spacecraft crash, complete with an alien hand amongst the debris.
Year six teacher Laura Marshall said the children were shocked but loved it and even parents were confused, wondering if it was real.
“It inspired the pupils to produce some brilliant pieces of creative writing and was a great kick-start to the new half term,” added Miss Marshall.
