BLACK Country Housing Group is recruiting staff to work at its new state-of-the-art care home, Gower Gardens, in Halesowen.

The home opens in September this year and will provide a home for older people with care and support needs and BCHG is recruiting for 23 roles after already recruiting 24 new members of staff.

There are a number of roles available at the new home ranging from night care manager to care assistant.

The company is looking for people who are caring and compassionate and support its core values of integrity, respect, positivity and quality.

BCHG’s director of social business Janette Beckett is overseeing the management of the home.

She said: “We have had a great response to our recruitment campaign having already filled 24 positions. I have been impressed by the talent and passion of the applicants interviewed so far.

"This is an exciting time for the local area and I am looking forward to meeting even more prospective employees as we launch the second phase of our recruitment drive.”

Set within landscaped sensory gardens for residents and their visitors to enjoy, Gower Gardens will provide specialist care for older people living with dementia.

It will have 66 fully en-suite bedrooms with modern facilities such as Wi-Fi and flat screen TVs.
