AN up and coming new face on the natural body building circuit from Halesowen is hoping to become a fitness model.
Josh Westwood, aged 28, won through to the finals of a fitness model contest at Birmingham’s NEC in May setting him on course to achieve his ambition.
The carpenter/joiner at a Cradley Heath shopfitting company has been training for 12 years.
Mr Westwood, of Bassnage Road, works out at Haden Hill Leisure Centre and has also been a jujutsu practitioner for 10 years, in which his is a brown belt.
He said he “thoroughly enjoyed” the NEC show, adding:
“It was an incredible experience and I've met so many great people that share the same interests as myself. “With the help of the fitness team at Haden Hill Leisure Centre I will be keeping in shape to do more fitness shows and work my way up to through the ranks.”
