THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between June 17 and 23:

Shabir Hussain, aged 31, of Tividale Road, Oldbury, was given a six month community order for drink driving in Dudley on March 9. When tested, he had 102mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for making off without paying for £49 worth of diesel. He was fined £200 and disqualified from driving for two years. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Alexis Amina Killworth, aged 31, of Merryfield Road, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for three years for stealing spirits, worth £99, from Sainsbury’s, Brierley Hill, on May 12. She must pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Elizabeth Pearson, aged 33, of Barnett Lane, Kingswinford, was fined £100 for speeding in Dudley on October 2, 2015. She was given four penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £80 court costs.

Darren Patrick Young, aged 40, of Bennon Road, Oldbury, was discharged conditionally for 18 months for using violence to secure entry to a property in Dudley on June 1, knowing that someone present on the premises was opposed to said entry. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Layla Marie Gould, aged 31, of High Street, Quarry Bank, was given a four week community order for stealing food, worth £100, from Farmfoods, Brierley Hill, on May 11. She was given a four week curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 7pm and 7am. She must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Maurice Patrick Hutchinson, aged 62, of Vicarage Prospect, Dudley, was given a three month community order for being the owner of a dangerously out of control dog that injured a woman in Dudley on June 6. He was given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 10pm and 6am. He must pay compensation of £250, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs. The dog must be muzzled and kept on a lead in public, microchipped, neutered and not walked by anyone under the age of 18.

Antonio James Price, aged 30, of Fens Crescent, Brierley Hill, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing items, worth £186, from shops in Brierley Hill on June 6. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Phillip John Welch, aged 51, of Arcle Croft, Rowley Regis, was fined £300 for drink driving in Dudley on June 4. When tested he had 40mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Andrew Paul Hodgkiss, aged 29, of Osprey Drive, Dudley, was sent to prison for six weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing meat, worth £25.44, from Co-op, Dudley, on June 20. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

David Jon Hunt, aged 46, of Lindsey Place, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 20 weeks for stealing items, worth £575.83, from shops in Brierley Hill between May 24 and June 20, while subject to a community order. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Sarah Kimberley Cole, aged 28, of Wells Road, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for four weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing items, worth £37.19, from Asda, Brierley Hill, on May 26 and failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on June 10, having been released on bail. She must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £135 court costs.

Tyrone Lee Johnson, aged 19, of Malthouse Drive, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for possessing cannabis in Brierley Hill on June 2. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Zohabe Akbar, aged 20, of Norman Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for driving whilst disqualified and without insurance, in Dudley on March 4. He must carry out 120 hours unpaid work, was given six points and must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £135 court costs.

Michael David Kent, aged 35, of Bournebrook Crescent, Halesowen, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a woman in Dudley on May 26 and using violence to secure entry into premises in Dudley, knowing that there was someone present who opposed said entry, on June 3. He must pay compensation of £85 and £135 court costs.
