GOOD morning, we’re here to guide you through all the latest traffic and travel news.

There are a couple of notable incidents which are causing delays on the roads across Worcestershire and the West Midlands this Thursday morning (July 7).

As we head into Halesowen, watch out for Highfield Lane which is closed in both directions between the B4183 Hagley Road junction and the Andrew Road junction.

This is due to a gas leak, leading to a diversion via Hagley Rd, Queensway and Andrew Road, which is expected to be completed by Monday July 11.

Look out for delays on Mill Street in Wordsley, Stourbridge, which is closed in both directions between B4180 Brierley Hill Road junction and Bridge Street junction due to a fire damaged building.

There are a series of road works causing delays also, including Load Street in Bewdley, which has closed for the long-term between the Severn Side South junction and the Park Lane junction.

Also around Kidderminster, expect delays on A456 in Callow Hill between the A4117 Cleobury Road junction and the Chapel Lane junction, because of water main work and temporary traffic lights.

Delays also on A449 in Cookley at the Common Barn Lane junction, due to temporary traffic lights.

Heading into Bromsgrove, the Birmingham Road is closed in both directions between the Burcot Lane junction and the A38 Birmingham Road junction, because of roadworks.

There is slow traffic in Dudley on A4123 Wolverhampton Road southbound in Oldbury at Birchley Island, so expect minor delays if you are heading this way in the morning.
