THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between July 18 and 21:

Lee Craig Hampton, aged 41, of Downfield Drive, Dudley, was fined £215 for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress, in Sedgley on June 23. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Luke Steven Byng, aged 21, of Lincoln Road, Netherton, was fined £595 for driving without due care and attention, without a licence or insurance on March 25. He was also sentenced for failing to stop the vehicle when required to do so by a police officer. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £36 and £135 court costs.

Chloe Jade Vigar, aged 30, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, for attempting to steal razor blades, worth £59.93, from Asda, Brierley Hill, on July 17. She must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Luke Hughes-Roberts, aged 24, of Islington, Halesowen, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months for stealing items, worth £220.09, from stores in Halesowen and Stourbridge between April 11 and June 4. He must pay compensation of £176.14.

Efat Rashid, aged 38, of Awbridge Road, Netherton, was fined £120 for drink driving in Netherton on July 4. When tested she had 60mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for 36 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Kelvin Joseph Robinson, aged 58, of Yarner Close, Milking Bank, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, for drink driving in Dudley on June 30. When tested, he had 82mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving while disqualified, without insurance. He was given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He was disqualified from driving for three years and must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £135 court costs.

Allan Conrad Gordon, aged 48, of Gauden Road, Pedmore, was discharged conditionally for two years for assaulting a woman in Stourbridge on April 23. He must pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £20 and £350 court costs.

Devon Miklos, aged 22, of Watsons Green Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 16 weeks for assaulting a woman in Dudley on July 15, whilst subject to a suspended sentence. He must pay compensation of £100 and a victim surcharge of £115.

Creagan Alan Peter Piesley, aged 23, of Alexander Road, Quarry Bank, was discharged conditionally for 12 months, for stealing a bottle of whisky in Quarry Bank on April 11. He must pay compensation of £10 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Julian Probyn, aged 30, of Kingsway, Wollaston, was sent to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months for assault and stealing items, worth £93.96, from Sainsbury’s, Blackheath, on June 29, while subject to a conditional discharge. He was also sentenced for driving in Oldbury on July 18 without insurance. He was fined £150 and must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £115 and £100 court costs. He was also given eight penalty points and a six week curfew, where for the duration he must stay at his home address between 7pm and 6am.

Zahid Munib Chaudhry, aged 42, of Malt Mill Lane, Halesowen, was discharged conditionally for nine months for assaulting a man in Dudley on November 3, 2015. The offence was racially aggravated. He must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £300 court costs.

Daniel Joseph Tomkins, aged 29, of Vauxhall Street, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe violence would be used against them in Cradley Heath on May 9. He was also sentenced for assaulting a woman in West Bromwich on May 18 and causing £600 worth of damage to a mobile phone. He must pay compensation of £600, a victim surcharge of £85 and £300 court costs.
