Part of Halesowen town closed closed off due to potential suicide bid
Police have closed off part of Halesowen town centre after a woman reportedly threatened to jump off a car park.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said at 9.30am today (Thursday): "Police have closed Pool Road both ends at Queensway and Birmingham Street in Halesowen after receiving reports that a woman was threatening to jump from the multi-storey car park in Pool Road.
"Officers are currently at the scene."
He added: "Pedestrians and motorists are advised to avoid the area at this time."
