A 17-HOUR stand-off between police and a woman threatening to jump from a Halesowen car park ended when she was talked down.
The incident began at around 9am yesterday (Thursday August 28) when police closed Pool Road both ends at Queensway and Birmingham Street.
The woman was detained under the Mental Health act after she came down from the roof of the car park at around 1.30am this morning (Friday).
West Midlands Police thanked the public for their patience which allowed the incident to end safely.
