A DENTIST has snapped up a Cradley Heath practice with a loan in excess of £100,000.

Dr Shoaib Merali has acquired and refurbished SA Benson dental surgery with undisclosed six-figure funding from the Royal Bank of Scotland.

The Halesowen Road practice has been modernised and fully re-decorated with the addition of new flooring, lighting and furniture in the waiting room

Dr Merali has also updated the dental equipment and installed new digital x-ray equipment which gives immediate and more accurate results for patients, including NHS, Denplan and private clients.

He said: “I am thrilled that I have been able to acquire the SA Benson Dental Surgery. It has a great reputation in the local area, known for providing the highest level of dental treatment and its warm, family-based environment, and I am looking forward to continuing to develop the practice and maintaining these high standards.

“Since acquiring the practice we have made a number of improvements to the surgery. These have not only improved the facilities we have and the aesthetic appeal of the practice, but they will enable us to provide more advanced and accurate treatment to our patients.”

Royal Bank of Scotland healthcare manager said Kip Chahal he was pleased to have been able to support Dr Merali in the purchase of the practice.
