THE Salvation Army in Cradley Heath is holding a family fun day to celebrate two milestones.
The army first established its mission in the town 135 years ago and it is ten years since its Meredith Street base opened.
The family fun day is on Saturday, September 10, between 11am and 2pm at the Meredith Street mission.
Mathew Griffiths, Salvation Army community coordinator, said: "There will be food, bouncy castle, craft activities for the children, stalls, entertainment and lots more.
"We are looking for charities to come along and have a stall to raise funds for their cause, booking is essential as limited spaces are available, we are also looking for performers to entertain the crowd.
Charities and entertainers should phone 01384 563570 to book a space.
