American hip-hop artist Shawty Lo has been killed in a car accident in Atlanta.

Reports in the US suggest the rapper died when the car he was travelling in rolled over, hit a tree and burst into flames in the early hours of Wednesday.

Manager Johnnie Cabell wrote a tribute on Instagram saying he was devastated at the loss of the 40-year-old, whose real name was Carlos Walker.

Simon Cowell has offered to come to the BBC’s rescue with a new show idea to replace The Great British Bake Off.

The Beeb lost the show to Channel 4 last week but Simon says his show idea can stay with the broadcaster forever.

He told The Sun: “I am open for business and I have got an idea for a new bread show, which involves cakes and innuendos and the BBC can have the contract for life.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie could be stung by millions in lawyers’ fees and a Brexit slowdown in property prices as the couple prepare to carve up their 400 million US dollar (£308 million) fortune as part of divorce proceedings.

Angelina filed for divorce from Brad on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences.

Rupi Rai, a principal lawyer in family law at Slater and Gordon, said that while costs for the divorce may vary, they could spiral into the millions.

The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here spin-off show will return to ITV2 later this year with a new name, new presenters and a new format.

I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp will follow the main ITV show and will be hosted by former winners Joe Swash, Stacey Solomon and Vicky Pattison as well as comedian Chris Ramsey.

The new show will replace I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here Now, which was hosted by Swash, Laura Whitmore and David Morgan.
