THE Wabash Jazzmen are returning to Halesowen to perform their own brand of jazz in the town.

The group was formed in 1994 and have been touring the clubs of Britain ever since and will be playing at Halesowen Cricket Club on Sunday, October 2 Trevor Jones, from the Sunday night jazz club, said: "Led by Mark Challinor, on banjo and guitar, the Cheshire based Wabash Jazzmen play an exciting style of New Orleans Jazz - enjoyed by those who want to dance and by those who prefer to listen."

The concert signals the start of the autumn and winter season of Sunday night jazz at the Dog Kennel Lane cricket club.

Mr Jones added: "Now the cricket season has drawn to a close we will have jazz at Halesowen Cricket Club, everyone is welcome."

The evening runs from 8pm until 10.30pm and admission, on the door, is £4.
