RESIDENTS in Cradley Heath were told to remain indoors following a chemical incident.
Fire crews were urging residents to remain indoors and keep windows closed yesterday following a chlorine leak in Woods Lane.
The public were also asked to avoid the area while firefighters dealt with the incident.
A fire spokesman said: "The incident was dealt with safely throughout the night by our specialist teams."
The area is now safe.
