TONY Billingham, the multi-talented Lapal businessman and musician, and his Jazz All Stars are back by popular demand in Halesowen next week.

The All-Stars performed for the first time together last month at Lapal House and received a standing ovation prompting a repeat performance on Wednesday, December 23.

Mr Billingham said: "It was the first time the All Stars were on stage together and we had such a great time on stage that we decided to do it again as soon as possible.

"It is wonderful live music is really making a come back and to have musicians like Tony Pipkin on trumpet, Ron Hills on trombone, David Wilkes on drums, Mike Sullivan on keyboards and pianist Paul Riley playing together is a real treat for Halesowen jazz fans."

He added: "We will be playing various numbers including Baby Face, Making Whoopie, Royal Garden Blues, the Jazz Band Ball and a lot more."

Mr Billingham's grandson Henry Liggins, fresh from starring in Les Mis, will be singing some Michael Buble numbers on Wednesday night.

Mr Billingham hit the headlines after changing his band's name from Europa, which he had used for 40 years, because his belief in Brexit.

The concert starts at 7.30pm, at Lapal House, Lapal Lane South, tickets are £10 and include a fish and chip supper.
