AFTER a cold but fine day across most parts of the Black Country and North Worcestershire yesterday, today is forecast to get even colder.
After a very cold and frosty start it will be a largely sunny day. However, any freezing fog patches that formed overnight will be slow to clear through the morning, with temperatures expected to be around 4°C.
Despite the sunshine it will remain cold into the afternoon, as temperatures increase slightly to around the 4.5°C mark.
Under largely clear skies it will be another very cold evening with a widespread harsh frost for most. Cloud will feed into northern parts by dawn, lifting temperatures a little. Minimum temperatures are forecast to be around a very chilly minus 6°C.
