Well, we have made it to Friday evening, thankfully we have yet to see any snow.

And we will not be seeing any this weekend either.

However, several of our roads are more packed with traffic than the pubs are with festive drinkers.

Will you make it home on time, or perhaps you are venturing out to the works Christmas do.

Sadly there has been an accident on the Midland Metro line, with reports of a male pedestrian being injured in West Bromwich.

The upshot now is trams from Wolverhampton to Birmingham are delayed.

As for the roads, and this will come as no surprise to regular Friday readers, there has been an accident on the M5.

There are delays on M5 southbound after a car overturned between the M6 and J2 Oldbury.

Elsewhere on the motorway network there was a breakdown on M6 southbound between J6 Birmingham and J5 Castle Bromwich, it has been cleared but there are still delays.

There is severe traffic in Dudley on Oakham Road through roadworks at Elizabeth Grove, and delays in Rowley Regis on Dudley Road through roadworks at Doulton Road.

There are also delays in Birmingham on A456 Hagley Road heading out of city at Highfield Road with queues back onto Broad Street and Belgrave Middleway.
