DURING half term, Phase Trust charity are running a multi sports club in partnership with Halesowen Primary school and Zion Christian Centre.
The club will be running Tuesday – Friday. This event was completely free and there were a fun range of activities from dance and unihoc to parachute games.
Healthy snacks and hot lunches were provided every day for the pupils who attended.
Phase Trust is a widely-respected youth organisation that works across the Dudley Borough and beyond, to provide formal and informal programmes of support that encourage children and young people to maximise learning opportunities and reach their potential as citizens.
Phase Trust works in both Primary and Secondary schools and colleges, as well as with other agencies. More specifically with Primary schools we offer help with transitioning to secondary school, mentoring and sports coaching.
Pete Barks, Phase Trust’s Primary and Sports worker said: “We are excited about piloting this Multiskills club and providing fun activities and food for pupils during their half term holiday.
"We hope to run more events with other schools on the back of what has been a successful week.
"We really value our partnerships with local schools and were pleased to be able to join with Halesowen Primary on this occasion.”
