HALESOWEN's Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is running exhibition in Clent as a part of its United Against Extremism campaign on Saturday The exhibition has recently being a success in Kinver and Hagley.

Mubashir Nadeem, the president of AM elders association, said: "As Muslim community, we believe that it is our duty to serve this country and to stop extremism, particularly in the name of Islam, which teaches us peace, loyalty, freedom, equality, respect and love for all.

"The campaign will send a clear message that IS has nothing to do with Islam and that extremism will never succeed."

He added: "The campaign that has featured a full-page advertisement in national press, will also see the distribution of half a million leaflets across the UK, to highlight Islam's rejection of extremism and its emphasis on peace."

The event is set to begin with a presentation that will introduce attendees to the history of the UK Ahmadiyya Muslim community.

Displays promoting peace with translated excerpts of Quranic verses along with other literature will then be viewable.

The exhibition will be held on Saturday from midday until 2.30pm.

Light refreshments will be served.
