HALESOWEN’S new Royal Family has been unveiled ahead of the summer carnival at Highfield Park.
Labique Ahmed and Meggan Griffin were unveiled as King and Queen with Princess Olivia Hanks and Prince Henry Torrington making up the cohort.
They were unveiled at an event in the town centre to promote the carnival which takes place on July 1 and 2.
Shoppers were also treated to a flash mob, made up to two Halesowen groups Danse Vivante and Canon Dance Academy.
Festival chairman Stuart Henley said: "It was great to see so many interested in the carnival when we unveiled our royals.
"These young people have been involved in so much at such a young age its great to give them the recognition they deserve.
"We also had a surprise flash mob who were outstanding. These groups put the performance together in very little time and whilst they were already busy with a competition. It's great to see so many youngsters involved in these groups."
