DUDLEY’s new mayor will lead a minute’s silence tomorrow (Wednesday, May 24) to remember the victims of last night’s terror attack in Manchester.
The mark of respect will be held at Coronation Gardens in Dudley at 10am.
The Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Dave Tyler, said: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic events in Manchester. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with the victims and the families and friends of those affected.
“Tomorrow we invite people from all communities to unite and join us in a minute’s silence to reflect on yesterday’s event and to remember those that have sadly lost their lives in such awful circumstances.”
The Dudley Council House flag in Ednam Road has been flown at half-mast today as a mark of respect.
