SAMUEL L Jackson has said he would like to make a romantic comedy after a long career of action films.

The Pulp Fiction star, 68, who has had a long and fruitful collaboration with director Quentin Tarantino, has rarely kissed a co-star on screen and said he might like to change that.

His new film, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, sees him team up with Salma Hayek to play a passionate couple and Jackson said it gave him a rare opportunity to show his romantic side.

A NEW series of American Crime Story telling the story of the assassination of fashion designer Gianni Versace will air on BBC Two, the broadcaster has announced.

The next instalment, detailing the murder in the summer of 1997, will be a follow-up to the Bafta and Emmy winning series The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.

Point Break star Edgar Ramirez will play Versace while Penelope Cruz will star as his sister Donatella.

JLS star JB Gill is to swap the pop hits for church hymns as he joins the Songs Of Praise presenting team.

The singer – one quarter of the chart-topping boy band who split in 2013 – will make his first appearance on the BBC’s flagship religious programme this Sunday as features presenter.

The 30-year-old joins a presenting team led by Aled Jones and will mark his debut episode by spending the night in the grounds of a historic Shropshire church as he samples a new form of holidaying known as champing.

FORMER Hollyoaks star Paul Danan had to be held back by his Celebrity Big Brother housemates during a fierce row with Jemma Lucy.

The ex-soap actor clashed with the reality TV star after an argument broke out over comments made by Sandi Bogle in an episode filled with rows, revelations and drama.

With the house transformed into a crime-ridden city for a murder mystery task, housemates have been given new identities and costumes, and must solve the murder to complete the task.
