BILLIE Piper will star in the National Theatre Live performance of Yerma when it hit the big screens in Stourbridge.
Returning in her Evening Standard ‘best actress’ award-winning role, Piper plays a woman in her thirties desperate to conceive builds with elemental force to a staggering, shocking, climax.
Simon Stone's radical production of Lorca's achingly powerful masterpiece will be broadcast live to the cinema screen at Stourbridge Town Hall’s Wollaston Studio from London’s Young Vic theatre at 7pm on Thursday, August 31.
Piper's lead performance is described as 'spellbinding', 'astonishing' and 'devastatingly powerful', with the theatre phenomenon selling out the Young Vic.
