MP Mhairi Black has called for the BBC to include same-sex dance partners on Strictly Come Dancing.

In an interview with Pink News, the openly gay MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire South also defended lesbian comedian Susan Calman, who has faced criticism for dancing with a male partner.

ED Sheeran has sparked excitement among his fans after revealing that he has returned to the recording studio.

The singer-songwriter posted a photograph on Instagram showing him sitting on a chair in the studio with his guitar in the foreground, with the caption: “Back in.”

It comes six months after Sheeran, 26, unveiled his third studio album, Divide, which topped the charts in several countries.

KINGSMAN: The Golden Circle star Taron Egerton said it would be “amazing” to play James Bond, if he was asked.

The Welsh actor, 27, joined stars including Halle Berry, Sir Elton John, Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore in London’s Leicester Square for the film’s world premiere.

Speaking on the orange carpet, Egerton said reviving the role of unlikely spy hero Eggsy was a “nice alternative” to the suave and sophisticated Bond, but hinted he would consider switching if the opportunity arose.

MUSICAL theatre group Collabro are releasing a single in aid of Save The Children’s Emergency Fund after one of their members was caught up in Hurricane Irma.

Singer Michael Auger was on holiday on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin when the storm hit and witnessed the destruction first hand.

He and his bandmates Jamie Lambert, Matt Pagan and Thomas Redgrave have now decided proceeds from their first single, Lighthouse, will go to the fund, which helps children affected by war and disasters around the world.
