A SEVERE fire at a house in Romsley in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, September 30) has been extinguished by firefighters.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bromsgrove Fire Station were joined by their West Midlands counterparts from Haden Cross at the incident in Eastleigh Drive at 4am.
The blaze took place in the garden of the property and had engulfed the shed, but fire crews were able to stop the flames from spreading further.
Following the incident, Haden Cross Fire Station tweeted that all people inside the property were safe and well.
Earlier this morning – at about 3.29am – Bromsgrove firefighters were alerted to a two car crash in Stourbridge Road, Fairfield, to make sure the vehicles were safe.
The fire service confirmed one casualty received checks at the scene by West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics.
