A MAN who was three times over the drink-drive limit has been banned from the roads for 23 months.

Tony Dhala, aged 39, of Halesowen Road, Old Hill, had 110mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath when he was caught behind the wheel in Cradley on September 17.

The legal limit is 35mcgs.

He must carry out 80 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Amjad Hussain, aged 44, of Orchid Street, Brierley Hill, was fined £80 for possessing cannabis in Birmingham on September 8. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £185 court costs.

Wendy Theresa Andrews, aged 50, of Himley Street, Dudley, was given a four week community order for failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis during the course of an investigation into whether she had committed an offence in Dudley on September 14. She was given a four week curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 7pm and 7am. She was disqualified from driving for 17 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £85 court costs.

David John Cullis, aged 39, of Tipton Road, Woodsetton, was sent to prison for 18 weeks, suspended for six months, for stealing computer games, worth £580, from Asda, Sedgley, on August 30 and September 2 and 4. He must pay compensation of £580 and £185 court costs.

Ian Jordan, aged 54, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was given a four month community order for stealing shopping, worth £566.45, from Asda, Great Bridge, on September 19. He was given a four month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 6am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £185 court costs.

George David Liam McCreight, aged 20, of Bredon Court, Halesowen, was given a four month community order for stealing glasses, worth £500, from Specsavers, Halesowen, on September 13. He was given a four month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay £100 compensation and £185 court costs.

Samantha Leanne James, aged 27, of Lyndsey Place, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for eight weeks for stealing items, worth £110.99, from B&M, Brierley Hill, on August 7 and 21. She must pay £20 compensation and a victim surcharge of £115.

Benjamin Charles Vance, aged 36, of Lyndsey Place, Brierley Hill, was given a six month community order for stealing items, worth £194.99, from shops in Brierley Hill and Wordsley on August 7, 10 and 21. He was given an eight week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay £100 court costs, £85 compensation and a victim surcharge of £85.

Nathan James Williams, aged 41, of Pebble Close, Stourbridge, was sent to prison for 42 weeks for stealing items, worth £1,015, from shops in Brierley Hill and Netherton and £10 from a person in Kingswinford between July 8 and August 9. He was also sentenced for committing fraud in Kingswinford on July 20 by attempting to make a gain for himself by using a bank card belonging to another. He was also sentenced for wilfully misbehaving at Dudley Magistrates Court on October 3 by swearing at the sentencing bench. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

David Alan Cox, aged 55, of Hill Street, Brierley Hill, was fined £250 for being over the limit while in charge of a motor vehicle. When tested, he had 44mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was given 10 penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Ian Martin Vincent, aged 44, of Briery Close, Cradley Heath, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a man in Three Diamonds Bar and Grill, Blackheath, on September 17. He must carry out 80 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Annette Sally Ford, aged 38, of Abberley Road, Blackheath, was sent to prison for 56 days, suspended for 12 months, for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, thereby causing three people harassment, alarm or distress, in Oldbury on June 20. The offences were racially aggravated. She must pay £150 compensation, a victim surcharge of £115 and £350 court costs.

Ross Andrew Hierons, aged 38, of Southwick Road, Halesowen, was sent to prison for 28 days for entering Johnson and Porter Ltd, Lye, as a trespasser on October 4 with intent to steal. He was also sentenced for attempting to steal a van in Lye on October 4. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Nathan David Wainwright, aged 27, of Wesley Court, Cradley Heath, was given a 12 month community order for driving while disqualified in Oldbury on September 21. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance and obstructing a police officer in the execution of her duty. He was given six penalty points and must carry out 100 hours unpaid work. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £100 court costs.

Behar Kingji, aged 46, of Ellowes Road, Lower Gornal, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for assaulting a police officer in Lower Gornal on June 25. He must pay £100 compensation, a victim surcharge of £20 and £620 court costs.
