ALL eyes will be on a new opticians which is set to open in Blackheath next week.

Specsavers will be opening its latest store in the former Pound Crazy unit in High Street on Thursday, October 19, creating eight full-time jobs for local people.

The business will be run by three directors, Gurdeep Dosanjh, Iram Noreen and Hussnan Ejaz – who are all familiar faces to Specsavers as they work at the Dudley practice.

The brand new store has three test rooms on the ground floor, including sound proof rooms for hearing.

As well as the Digital Precision Eyecare technology, the store also boasts a dedicated contact lens area and a high-tech digital retinal camera that helps with the early detection of conditions like glaucoma.

Gurdeep said: “We are delighted to be launching the new store in Blackheath and are very much looking forward to welcoming customers through the doors.

“Our aim is that they will see us as the equivalent to their friendly local GP and can be sure of the best possible standards of eyecare and customer service.”

For more information, or to make an appointment, call the store on 0121 559 5816, or visit www.specsavers.co.uk/stores/blackheath.

The Blackheath store, which will have an official opening ceremony together with a celebratory party day, will open seven days a week, with hearing appointments available one day a week.
