FROM witches and tech play to messy craft sessions, Sandwell libraries are offering a packed programme of fun for youngsters this half term.

Every library is running craft and story sessions for children as well as special family events, with many of them free.

As well as that, visitors can enjoy a free bowl of cereal alongside the fun activities at Rounds Green Library in Oldbury, when it holds ‘Cereal Readers’, while Sandwell’s Family Learning Festival will pull up at Oldbury Library, with both events taking place on Wednesday, October 25, from 10am until 1pm.

Councillor Richard Marshall, Sandwell Council's cabinet member for leisure, said: “Our libraries are great community hubs and there’s always lots going on.

“This half-term is no exception with a packed programme for children and families, from theatre to gaming and even some reading.”
