ANTIQUES fans should be on the lookout for Halesowen next week as the town features on hit ITV show Dickinson’s Real Deal.

Broadcasting on Wednesday, December 6, the episode of the antiques programme will include scenes shot at Halesowen College last year.

The show spent the day filming at the Whittingham Road college last November filming the dealers Ray Rutter, Micheal Hogben, Jon O’Marah and Simon Schneider.

The Halesowen episode will feature local residents Jacqui and Roy Davies finding out how much Grandma Marsland’s Omega watch is worth.

Elaine Cammies, community participation director at Halesowen College, said: “We were delighted when Dickinson’s Real Deal decided to use our college for filming and transformed our sports hall for a whole Saturday.

“Now we have the date when we will be appearing on TV, so everyone involved can tune in. We had lots of people attend on the day to make it really successful.”

The episode will air on ITV1 at 3pm on Wednesday.
