THE sights of Shropshire will be explored during a special talk in Halesowen next month.
John Billingham will be talking on the topic ‘Images of Shropshire – part two’ as a returning guest speaker at the next Halesowen History Society meeting.
The talk, which follows on from ‘part one’ of John’s talk which took place in 2017 – although visitors do not need to have seen the first part – continues the society’s current season of speakers, with John stepping up once again on Thursday, February 1.
Meeting at the Shenstone Theatre in Halesowen Library, the group’s talk begins at 7.15pm with an admission charge of £2 for non-members.
For more information about the meeting, or the group’s upcoming 2018 talks, search ‘Halesowen History Society’ on Facebook.
