MOTORISTS are being urged to drive with caution in the bad weather after a car crashed into a wall and a tree in Rowley Regis.

Firefighters from Oldbury were called to Portway Hill in Rowley Regis this morning (Sunday, January 21) at 10.43am following the incident.

The car left the road and crashed into the tree and wall, causing damage.

Five people were assessed by paramedics at the scene, but an ambulance service spokesman said all five were discharged at the scene with either minor or no injuries.

A spokesman for Oldbury Fire Station said Portway Hill was 'treacherous' and encouraged people to drive carefully.

But he added that while snow was a contributer to the smash, it wouldn't be the sole cause.
