SESSIONS are being held at Blackheath and Oldbury libraries this month to help people learn about the new ‘MySandwell’ online services.

A MySandwell account helps people get in touch with a range of council services, from reporting a problem to viewing their council tax bill.

For people who need help in accessing the council website and signing up for an online account, two hour sessions are being held at the borough’s libraries.

They will take place at Blackheath Library on Wednesday (March 21) and March 28, as well as at Oldbury Library on Monday (March 26), with all sessions from 10.30am until 12.30pm. Refreshments will also be provided.

Councillor Steve Trow, cabinet member for core council services, said: “These sessions are aimed at our council tenants and anyone in Sandwell who wants to use the website but doesn’t know how.

“I would encourage people to find out how our website and a MySandwell account can help them when seeking help from or doing business with the council.”

The library sessions do not need to be booked, and people can just turn up on the day.
