THE country’s leaders and their association with the region will be the topic of conversation during a talk in Halesowen next week.
David Howe will be the guest speaker at Halesowen History Society’s meeting on Thursday, April 5, with his talk entitled ‘Prime Ministers and the Midlands’.
Meeting at the Shenstone Theatre in Halesowen Library, the group’s talk begins at 7.15pm with an admission charge of £2 for non-members.
After last month’s meeting was cancelled, group secretary Carol Taylor said: “Apologies to all for the cancellation last month due to the adverse weather, hope we managed to contact all members to let them know.
“We will be welcoming Keith Hodgkins at a future date, following the cancellation.”
