REDDIT co-founder Steve Huffman has said that racism is allowed on the social media site.

In response to a direct question from a user, the site’s chief executive said racial slurs are not against Reddit’s rules.

AN unused ticket for the launch of the Titanic in May 1911 is expected to fetch up to £25,000 at auction.

The “extremely rare” ticket would have been presented for admission to watch the ship slide down the ways as she first took to the sea.

More than 1,500 passengers and crew died when the Titanic struck an iceberg on April 14 1912.

GLORIA Hunniford has told the judge of the “effect” BBC coverage had on Sir Cliff Richard.

Lawyers representing Sir Cliff said she was a “close and long-standing friend” of the singer and had made a witness statement.

The presenter was at court today (Thursday) and hugged and kissed Sir Cliff after the hearing adjourned for lunch.

Administrators said all of the retailer’s stores will close by 24 April (Yui Mok/PA)

TOYS R Us will shut its final stores in just under two weeks, resulting in the loss of more than 2,000 jobs, the retailer’s administrators have confirmed.

The toy chain collapsed in February and insolvency specialist Moorfields has been selling off the retailer’s stock at knockdown prices.

However, Moorfields said on Thursday that all Toys R Us’s 75 stores would close on April 24, with 2,054 employees set to be made redundant.
