Borough senior citizens with an illness or disability have been told an extra £110 a week in benefits may be just a phone call away.
Citizens could be missing out on the health-related hand-outs including Attendance and Disability Living Allowances under Age Concern Dudley's Your Rights' benefits campaign.
The charity is urging anyone coming up to their 65th birthday to claim the cash.
If residents are ill or disabled and claim Disability Living Allowance before they turn 65 they can get up to an extra £45 a week for life than if they claim after their 65th birthday.
This is on top of the £64.50 per week people can claim once they turn 65.
Kate Coxon, support services manager at Age Concern Dudley, said: "Many older people across the borough coping with an illness or disability are missing out on life-changing cash, because they simply don't know they can claim or are confused by the system." Anyone who thinks they might be missing out on the cash can call Age Concern Dudley's Information and Advice Line on 01384 359736.
