NOT all Aston Villa fans have been lucky enough to get a ticket to Wembley this weekend – but those missing out can watch the game with three Villa heroes at a Stourbridge pub.
European Cup and European Super Cup winners Gary Shaw and Andy Blair are heading to the Britannia Inn on Saturday.
They will be joined by fellow ex-Villa star Mark Walters at the Wollaston pub to watch Steve Bruce’s men take on Fulham in the Championship play-off final (kick-off 5pm).
The trio of claret and blue heroes will sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans after the game and they may stick around to watch the Liverpool v Real Madrid Champions League final too.
The Britannia is also hosting a special ‘Hand of God’ evening with legendary England goalkeeper Peter Shilton in the build-up to the World Cup next month.
Shilton – England’s all-time record appearance holder on 125 caps – will visit The Britannia on Tuesday, June 12, two days before the World Cup kicks off in Russia.
Punters can enjoy a three-course meal with Shilton as well as a ‘Q&A’ evening. For more details, keep an eye on the venue’s Facebook page.
