LUCKY Rowley Regis neighbours woke up to good news after scooping the People’s Postcode Lottery’s daily prize after their address was drawn this morning (Tuesday, July 3).
Five players from Wadham Close who entered the lottery with their lucky B65 9SH postcode have won the £1,000 jackpot.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt offered her congratulations and said: “Well done to everyone picking up a prize today in Rowley Regis.
“I love seeing people share the joy of winning together and hope they have a fabulous time spending the cash.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of postcode lottery ticket sales goes directly to charities, with £310 million to date being donated to local causes.
Among those to have be given support include Sandwell charity Care Link West Midlands, which was awarded £4,850 last year to run an inclusive community sports programme for refugee women and girls.
